Charity’s windfall will make a big difference

MISSION accomplished . . . FCHO staff after the Three Peaks Challenge
A CHADDERTON charity that supports children with Down’s Syndrome has been given a £16,670 boost by First Choice Homes staff.
FCHO picked DSWestPennine as its charity for 2014/15 and has raised the money with events including the Three Peaks Challenge, a fashion show, an Indian lunch, a collection day at Sainsbury’s and an auction.
Though the fundraising year has ended, FCHO will continue to support the charity - founded by FCHO employee Moira Fields in 2010.
The money will enable DSWestPennine to pay its rent and pay for supported families to take days out and therapy.
