A MAN’S skull was fractured in an Oldham baseball bat attack
The 21-year-old victim was walking to his car on Marlborough Street late on Tuesday night when a man with a gold and silver-coloured baseball bat struck him several times on the head without provocation or warning before running off.
The victim was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital where he is being treated for two skull fractures and a broken hand. Police have launched an appeal for information.
