Woman hurt by hit and run driver

A 73-year-old woman was taken to hospital after being knocked down by a car that failed to stop.
The woman was in Hardy Street, Glodwick shortly before 11.30am yesterday. She was treated by paramedics for minor head injuries and taken to hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses - on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800-555 111.
