Riddle of animal parts in canal

POLICE are investigating after animal parts were found in the Rochdale canal in Failsworth.

Parts of a pig or sheep - including the lungs and heart - were thrown into the canal close to the rear of Housing Units on three occasions between March 21-25.

Officers are now appealing to anyone with information about the incidents to come forward to help find those responsible.
