THE family of a 93-year-old man who died after being bitten by a fellow care home resident must wait up to three weeks for a coroner’s conclusion.
Frederick Adams was bitten and hit with a shoe by Alfred Baker (73) at Acorn Lodge Care Home, Failsworth in October 2013. He died a few weeks later from blood poisoning and infection.
Coroner Lisa Hashmi decided that she will form a written conclusion within 21 days.
