Four on child sex charges

FOUR men have been charged as part of a continuing investigation into child sexual exploitation in Rochdale.
The charges relate to offences committed against one victim by different men. The girl was under 16 at the ti me
Operation Doublet has been led by Greater Manchester Police’s Major Incident Team, assisted by the Public Protection Division and Rochdale division, and centres on sexual exploitation between 2005 and 2007 in the Rochdale area.
Hadi Jamel (33), of Yorkshire Street, Rochdale, Raja Abid Khan (38), of Palatine Street, Rochdale, and Mohammed Zahid (54), of Croxton Avenue, Rochdale, are charged with one count each of sexual activity with a child.
Abid Khan (38), of Whitney Road, Liverpool, is charged with three counts of sexual activity with a child. They are all due to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
