Fire crew tackles moorland blaze

FIRE-fighters from Oldham tackled a moorland blaze above Shaw last night.
They were called to Brushes Clough, off Buckstones Road, shortly before 8.20pm to spend almost three hours fighting the fire across almost 1,000sq m of the moor.
