BIG KICK-OFF: Paul Scholes opens Friezland Primary School new play area
MANCHESTER United and England legend Paul Scholes has officially opened Friezland Primary School’s new multi-purpose games area.
The school was given £30,000 by Sport England to develop the area.
Fay Wilson, the school’s PE co-ordinator, said: “It’s a big deal for us to have somebody like Paul here who the children can look up to. Hopefully this will encourage the children to be more active and benefit the whole community.”
