Date published: 08 May 2015
A NEW inquiry into mental health has added an Oldhamer to its team.
The Youth Select Committee - a British Youth Council initiative - will explore issues of awareness, education and services for people under 25 and is calling for evidence from a wide range of witnesses.
Pride in Oldham award winner Saskia Edwards (18) of Oldham Youth Council will help to create the final report based on its findings, to be presented to the Government later in the year.
Now in its fourth year, the Youth Select Committee (YSC) is supported by the House of Commons.
The Committee’s call for written evidence closes on May 22. Evidence sessions will be held in the House of Commons in June and July. Written evidence can be submitted by email to: bycyouthselect@parliament.uk.
