Kitchen firm hit by fire
Date published: 08 May 2015
FIREFIGHTERS are investigating after a blaze at a kitchen unit on a Chadderton industrial estate early today.
Crews from Oldham and Chadderton were called to Trade Kitchens at around 4am. The firm’s manager, Darren Todd-Nichols, believes the fire was started deliberately.
“I’ve got CCTV which I’ll be passing to the police and it looks to me like it was started deliberately.
“The most frustrating thing is that I’ve got to call my customers now and tell them I can’t supply them and that is going to cost me business.”
