Third man arrested over Latics threats

POLICE have arrested a 31-year-old man after death threats were sent to Oldham Athletic.
Three men were sought in connection with the threats, sent by letter on Monday. Following an appeal for information the 31 year old handed himself in yesterday. He remains in police custody on suspicion of making threats to kill. Police went to two homes in Oldham and one in Radcliffe following the threats.
On Tuesday men aged 27 and 42 were arrested. They have been bailed until June 15.
There was increased security at Trust Oldham’s Meet the Manager event last night with a mobile police unit posted outside SportsDirect.com Park.
