IT was best foot forward and jazz hands at the ready for children at the annual Oldham’s Got To Dance competition.
Youngsters from 13 primary and two secondary schools busted some moves at Oldham Academy North, Broadway. Pupils as young as seven showed off styles from street dance to contemporary, ballet and disco.
Knowsley Junior School, Springhead, was declared overall primary school winner with a freestyle pop performance, taking home a trophy and medals.
The secondary category was won by pupils from the host school.
Sarah Myers, head of PE and performance at Oldham Academy North, organised the event.
She said: “All the students loved it and had a really good day.
“And it was great that our students did so well.”
