Mad week ahead
Date published: 05 June 2015
OLDHAM will be going Mad for Mahdlo next week as the youth zone prepares for its annual week of activities, fundraising and awareness events.
From Monday until June 14, young people and families across the borough can enjoy parties, barbecues, competitions and even a carnival as part of the Egerton Street centre’s celebrations.
Mahdlo is appealing to everyone to get involved with this year’s festivities and do whatever they can to raise money for the registered charity. Several local schools have signed up to take part.
Mad for Mahdlo week ends at Oldham Carnival on June 14 with a “pop-up” Mahdlo arena featuring arts and crafts, a climbing wall, competitions and family fun.
