Alan to lead Lib-Dem parish group

SADDLEWORTH Parish Council Liberal Democrat group has chosen Alan Belmore to be its new leader.

Mr Belmore (25), an accountant from Greenfield was approved unanimously by Lib-Dem councillors and takes over from Bill Cullen, who has led the group since 2013.
