Man, 27 is hit by car

A MAN was left with head injuries after being hit by a car on Chamber Road.
Police were called to the accident near to the junction with Gainsborough Avenue early on Saturday morning The injured man, aged 27, was taken to Salford Royal Hospital and is in a stable condition.
A 21-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until September 15. An investigation continues.
