A CRACKDOWN on wanted offenders in Oldham has seen 67 people arrested in a week of action.
The offenders were arrested for assault, bail-breaches, failing to appear at court and recall to prison.
Operation Olympus, which ran from June 22 to 26 saw more than 150 specialist officers supporting the force’s 11 divisions to target wanted offenders. Across Greater Manchester, more than 300 officers arrested 362 offenders.
Supt Craig Thompson said: “The results of Operation Olympus send a clear message to those wanted by police that it is only a matter of time before they are caught.”
