Decision time for Satellite Centre

Greenfield’s satellite centre - under new management?
THE future of Greenfield’s much-loved community centre is to be discussed tomorrow
The Satellite Centre in Wellington Road closed in March, following transfer of Oldham Council youth club services to Mahdlo
Saddleworth Parish Council now wants to keep the building open by having it used for a wider range of community activities, and run by a local consortium.
Interested parties have been invited to tomorrow’s meeting at Uppermill’s Civic Centre at 7.30 pm and several local organisations are expected to attend.
Future use of the club is expected to focus on youth and children’s activities, though all sectors of the community would be catered for.
