A summer concert by Oldham Choir will have an unusual twist
The concert, at St Chad’s, Uppermill, will be an integral part of the 800th anniversary celebration of the church. The audience will hear music spanning 800 years, including early church music, secular music and madrigals from 14th and 15th century. There will also be pieces from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, right up to modern music written in the past two decades.
Tickets for the concert, on Sunday, are £7.50 from Diggle and Uppermill post offices
