Delighted organisers of Saddleworth’s legendary summer show are celebrating a smash hit after this year’s knock-out event.
More than £17,500 was raised at the colourful one-day spectacular staged this year at Well-i-Hole Farm, Greenfield.
Huge crowds flocked to the show, which is a joint project between Saddleworth and Oldham Metro Rotary Clubs, and sponsored by the Evening Chronicle.
Frank Bolger, the show’s director, said: “All the hard work organising the spectacular event was just reward when we saw the crowds having such a fantastic day.”
