A 31-YEAR-OLD man was flown to hospital after suffering severe burns when a petrol can exploded in Mossley.
The man is now recovering after being taken to Wythenshawe Hospital’s specialist burns unit with “non life-threatening” injuries.
The drama created much attention when the air ambulance landed on a small patch of grassland at the rear of houses on Micklehurst Road, Mossley. An ambulance arrived minutes later to transfer the patient to the air ambulance for a speedy flight to Wythenshawe.
