RAINBOWS will adorn the town centre this weekend as Oldham Pride returns.
This year’s event is on Saturday, and organisers promise it will be bigger and better than ever. The day starts at 11.30amw with a spectacular parade to Gallery Oldham, where there will be an afternoon of fun with live entertainment, stalls, children’s events and a licensed bar.
Oldham Council leader Jim McMahon said: “Oldham Pride is now in its second decade and in that time the event has grown into one of the biggest dates on the town centre’s calendar.”
