A PAIR of plucky Oldhamers joined street dancers of all ages for a spectacular festival finale.
Madeleine Fogg and Linda Edwards, with 70 other dancers aged nine to 70, took part in a street dance event at the Quays Culture festival at MediaCityUK.
Dancers were accompanied by “Mini Burble”, a 10-storey high balloon sculpture.
Lucy Dusgate, programme producer for Quays Culture, said: “Mini Burble looked like a giant multi-coloured tethered cloud and it was magical to watch.
Laura Broome, Quays Culture dance producer added: “The dancers, from all walks of life, did an incredible job animating the piazza. Many had never performed before.”
