Jailed heroin dealer a victim

A drug dealer jailed for selling heroin on the streets of Oldham, was told by a judge his life was blighted by drugs and he too was a victim.
Muhammad Zubair (46), admitted being an addict since his teens, but said his arrest had led to being forced to kick his habit: he was thinking clearly for the first time in 20 years.
Zubair, of Suffolk Street, Werneth, was caught by undercover police.
Manchester Crown Court was told he unknowingly sold wraps of heroin to plain-clothes officers four times last November and December.
Zubair pleaded guilty to four counts of supplying heroin and one of possession and was jailed for three years.
