Jodi still smiling after missing title

SHAW beauty queen Jodi Eyre narrowly missed out on her bid to be crowned Miss England on Friday.

But the Miss Manchester winner didn’t walk away empty handed: she won the “Billion Dollar Smile” award after getting into the top five of the beauty pageant in Coventry. As a result she becomes the face of Billion Dollar Smile cosmetics.

The 23 year old, a student at Manchester Metropolitan University, was crowned Miss Manchester in May.

Jodi said: “I thought getting into the top 15 would be perfect but getting into the top five was something else. It was such an amazing event. I met really nice people — it has been a great experience.”

The Miss England crown went to Miss Cheshire Natasha Hemmings who has won a place in Miss World in China later this year.
