Murder charge

Tommy Bilton
A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of Tommy Bilton in Oldham on Saturday.
Matthew Gregory (23), of Horsedge Street, Oldham, is also accused of assault and violent disorder.
Shortly after 3.55am, officers found 19-year-old Tommy and a 23-year-old man with stab wounds in Ashton Road. Tommy later died of his injuries and the other man remains in hosptal.
Gregory has been remanded into custody to appear before Oldham magistrates today.
