FLASHBACK: It's a Knockout in Alexandra Park in 1977.
IT’S back! The iconic TV game show that saw contestants chuck themselves over inflatables while getting drenched and generally laughed at returns to Oldham this weekend.
“It’s A Knockout” was broadcast on BBC1 and later Europe-wide from 1966-1982 and made a comeback on Channel 5 in the late 1990s.
The hugely-popular show saw teams represent their town competing in absurd tasks, usually in fancy dress.
Alexandra Park will again play host to a charity version of the games on Sunday and Monday (from noon-6pm) in aid of the The Christie at Oldham.
