Driver exposed himself behind the wheel

A FLASHER who exposed himself four times in 90 minutes has been given a 12-month community order.

Anthony Wright (53), of Oldham Road, Grasscroft, flashed at a man and his wife as well as three other women in separate incidents in Springhead and Grasscroft on July 12.

Oldham Magistrates’ Court heard on Friday how Wright was driving around in a silver Volkswagen Passat asking for directions to Uppermill while wearing no trousers and performing sex acts on himself.

Wright, whose 16-year-old son is severely disabled, does not have much time to socialise and rarely speaks to women, the court was told.

Wright, who suffers from undiagnosed health problems, was also fined £825 and given a 30-day rehabilitation requirement.
