ROLL with it . . . Nick Grimshaw as Liam Gallagher
DEFINITELY maybe... definitiely. Oldhamer Nick Grimshaw finally plumped for Liam Gallagher when it came to picking his childhood hero.
The X-Factor judge and BBC Radio One Breakfast Show DJ dressed up as the Oasis frontman to launch the 2015 Children in Need Appeal.
Nick, a former Our Lady’s pupil, is calling for people across Oldham to follow in his footsteps by spending a day dressed as their own childhood hero to raise money for charity.
He said: “When it came to picking someone to dress up as I really did struggle, but Liam Gallagher had to be my final choice. His music was the soundtrack to my childhood, and his talent was something I really did admire.”
Children in Need currently funds 11 projects worth £629,732 in Oldham. Visit www.bbc.co.uk/Pudsey to find out more about this year’s appeal.
