DAVID Dunn has been handed charge of Oldham Athletic following the sacking of manager Darren Kelly.
Kelly was dismissed in the aftermath of a 5-1 home loss to Peterborough on Saturday. The following morning, the club announced ex-Blackburn and Birmingham midfield man Dunn (35), previously a member of the team, will be interim manager.
Kelly had endured a mixed start to his career as a manager with Athletic. Latics went on an unbeaten five game run at the start of the season — but won only once in nine games.
