Raiders ransack cricket club

THIEVES broke into Shaw Cricket Club and stole a till while causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
The raiders broke grilles off windows to get in, then searched until the alarm was triggered. The till contained only loose chainge
Club chairman Mark Smith, said: “This is the second time it’s happened this year. We were broken into at the start of the season but they were caught. It’s just such a shame when everyone here is a volunteer and you do your best to keep the club going.”
