YOUNG Latics fans are to get the chance to be match day announcer, run the club website or even becoming a director for the day when club stages Youth Takeover Day on October 10.
Fans aged seven to 12 will get a chance to go behind the scenes at SportsDirect.com Park and get a totally different matchday experience as the team plays Scunthorpe.
Commercial director Mark Moisley said: “This initiative is great for younger children and is one of a number of things we will be running throughout the season.
“With the success of the family and community section, we have seen an increase in junior supporters getting involved in activities with the football club and want to encourage further participation.
“And who knows, the youngsters might be better than the current job holders...”
Application forms for all roles are available on the club’s website - www.oldhamathletic.co.uk, and must be returned to wendy.noble@oldhamathletic.co.uk by 5pm on September 28.
