A festival you can Digg
Date published: 25 September 2015
THE hills will be alive with the sound of music when kind-hearted musicians strum up money for a good cause on Saturday.
DiggFest, a fund-raising music festival in Diggle, will be collecting food and clothing as well as cash for local homeless charity Cold Nights. Six bands will keep crowds entertained, and there will be food and drink stalls from 2pm.
Entrance to the event, at Diggle Band Club in Huddersfield Road, is £5 (children under 12 free).
A similar event also takes place the following Saturday at the Bank Top Tavern, King Square, Oldham, from 3pm.
