Cricketers raise £4,000 for refugees

KIND-HEARTED cricketers hosted a tournament to raise over £4,000 for refugees.
The eight-a-side slog was held at Oldham Cricket Club with a barbecue, stalls and entertainment. Zahid Mir, one of the organisers, said: “The money is still being counted but weire really happy with the amount raised so far.
The weather was with us and the tournament went really well.”
