7,000 jobs on offer for Christmas rush

PARCEL firm Yodel is creating 7,000 full and part-time jobs, including 784 in the North-West, in the run up to Christmas.
The North-West jobs will be based in Middleton, Warrington, Carlisle and Preston. Yodel will recruit 101 drivers, who will be provided with branded uniforms and a liveried van, and 292 owner drivers, who will provide their own vans. Both groups will be based at local service centres.
Another 370 self-employed couriers will join the company with their own cars to deliver and collect smaller parcels, while self-employed couriers will work from home and do local deliveries.
