A FORMER call centre is to be turned into a multi-functional building for academic and religious learning and social gathering.
Proposals from the UK Islamic Mission Development and Welfare Ltd (UKIM) for Werneth House, Manchester Road, were given the green light by Oldham planners last night.
Plans include turning the ground floor into an educational facility with classrooms, starter offices for rent and a prayer room. The first floor will be converted into a multi-purpose suite to hold conferences, exhibitions and training events along with an office for UKIM.
