Post Office - 50 yard move and extended hours
THE Post Office is proposing to relocate its Holts branch to a new location where it be a modern open-plan layout with extended hours.
The new Holts “Post Office Local” branch will offer services throughout shop opening hours from an open-plan till at counter, rathe than a separate screened counter.
The proposed new home is Tattersalls Supermarket, near Birches Parade — 50 yards from the present Post Office. Should the move go ahead, the branch would open from 6am-10.30pm seven days a week.
The Post Office is inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments in a six-week public consultation.
