Oldham bonfire: out of this world this year
OLDHAM’S civic bonfire is back with a bang — and this year it’s going to be out of this world!
The annual event takes place at Oldham Edge on November 5 and promises fun for all the family.
Taking centre-stage will be Fantastic Fireworks – crowned winner of the 2015 British Fireworks Championship at Southport earlier this month. The show will offer a mix of multi-shot fireworks, rockets, fountains, screechers and stars to a display with an “Out of this World” theme.
The site will open from 5pm and feature a funfair and food stalls, a stage-show from 6pm, outdoor theatre, Brazilian-style drumming and even a dazzling fire-juggling display
