Youngsters at the Royal Oldham Hospital were delighted to receive gifts and treats from Human Aid UK as part of this year’s Eid celebrations.
Volunteers arrived loaded with presents and cakes for children in the hospital - and left with with the appreciation ofparents and staff.
Eidul Adha, celebrated by Muslims all over world, prompted the volunteers to focus their attention towards local children in less fortunate circumstances.
Khadijah Taymiyyah, a Manchester-based volunteer, said: “It was a fun and rewarding experience and I can’t wait to do it again. It was an all-round brilliant group effort with equally amazing volunteers.”
This was the third year the charity had visited the hospital as part of Eid.
