A FORMER MP and Cabinet Minister has revealed himself as a Latics fan.
Former Conservative MP for Rossendale, Sir David Trippier, revealed he is an Oldham Athletic supporter during a banquet at Bolton Wanderers’ Macron Stadium.
Sir David’s Oldham football allegiance stems fro his father, who played for the team before World War Two.
Hosted by former Cabinet Minister Sir David and his barrister wife, Lady Trippier, the banquet marked the end of a five-year festival for the 4,500 Masons in the province.
