Funding will not be pulled from the new Saddleworth School development - annd plans are progressing well, Councillor Shoab Akhtar told Oldham Council this week.
Ward councillor Garth Harkness asked for reassurances the Cabinet remained committed to building the school.
Councillor Akhtar said the plan is going through a legal process which must be “robustly followed” and that a public consultation has now been announced for the school.
The total cost of the highways and access for the new Saddleworth School will be released once the proposals have been finalised, Councillor David Hibbert revealed.
