Nelly back home

A CHIHUAHUA reportedly stolen from Chadderton has been returned to her owner, thanks to the Chronicle.
Four-year-old Nelly escaped from her owner’s garden in Westfield Street, Chadderton on October 27.
Mrs Diallo was told an hour later by a woman that she had seen another woman pick up the dog and drive off.
But after the Evening Chronicle reported the story, Nelly was soon returned.
Mrs Diallo’s daughter Carla said: “The article got her back. The lady who took her got her young daughter to call my mum after her neighbour pointed out the story to her. My mum’s over the moon that Nelly is safe again.”
