THE annual Festival of Light has been rescheduled due to the upcoming by-election.
The festival has now been moved from Wednesday, December 2, to Monday, December 14, as the by-election count for the Oldham West and Royton constituency is also being held in the Queen Elizabeth Hall the following day.
The Festival of Light, organised by Oldham Interfaith Forum, has seen the different communities of Oldham celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Eid al-Adha, and Deewali together every year since 2003.
