Mahdlo’s music talent nights

ASPIRING musicians can take to the stage at monthly Mahdlo’s Open Mic nights, which start this weekend.

Mahdlo is working in partnership with Square 1 Studios to launch the music nights at the Egerton Street Youth Centre on Saturday.

Performers, including singer/ songwriters, bands, rappers and spoken word artists, are encouraged to get involved.

Each month will feature a different theme and will showcase the up and coming musicians from across the borough.

All young people and Mahdlo members are invited to perform or watch the performances from 6.30pm. Entrance costs 50p for members or £1 for non-members.
