The Fiat lies on its side in Roman Road, Hollinwood
A WOMAN escaped with minor injuries after a car ploughed into a wall in Hollinwood yesterday.
The Fiat Punto flipped on to its side on Roman Road, close to the junction with Limeside Road, shortly after 2.40pm.
Emergency services were alerted and the woman was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital as a precaution.
EMERGENCY services were also called to a crash near Oldham College yesterday.
A white BMW 3 Series and a blue VW Polo Sport were involved in the incident, which resulted in serious damage to both cars, on Rochdale Road shortly after 5.30pm. Only minor injuries were reported however the road, close to the junction with Chadderton Way, was closed until 6.20pm.
