M-way bridge plunge woman badly injured

A 27-YEAR-OLD woman is in a serious condition after falling from a bridge on to the M60 at Chadderton yesterday.
Emergency services ushed to junction 21 of the M60 close to Broadway after a woman was seen on the wrong side of the bridge railing after 3.50pm. It is believed she wasn’t hit by any vehicle and fell to the hard shoulder.
She was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary with internal bleeding and fractures to her pelvis, arm, leg and shoulder. After surgery she remains in a serious condition.
