IT’S a slam dunk from Manchester Giants basketball player Sam Attah as he shows off his skills to pupils at Mills Hill Primary School.
He visited the Chadderton school with assistant coach David Credgington as part of the Olympic-inspired programme “Be the Best You Can Be!”, which helps children to discover and develop their talents.
Mills Hill pupils have been looking at how people overcome setbacks on the way to success, as well as finding out more about the different occupations they could aspire to. This has included visits by parents who work in different jobs, such as a nurse, soldier, charity worker and coach.
A parent also arranged for Sam and Dave to visit and they answered questions about their careers — the highs and the lows — and their ambitions.
