THE winners of this year’s Saddleworth Illuminations have lit up the area.
The annual festive competition sees a panel judge the best of Saddleworth’s Christmas lights in a number of categories. The judging panel was chairman of the parish council, Councillor Neil Allsopp, Oldham and Saddleworth parish councillor Nikki Kirkham and the clerk to Saddleworth parish council, Pam Bailey.
And the winners are:
Best Illuminated Shop Window
Winner: NK Hair, Uppermill
Runner Up: Lush, Austerlands
Best Decorated Shop Window
Winner: Shear Perfection, Delph
Runner Up: Blush Bridal Boutique, Uppermill
Best Residential Property
Winner: Mr and Mrs Percival, Clayton’s Close, Springhead
Runner Up: Mr and Mrs Powell, Annisfield Avenue, Greenfield
Best Decorated Community
Winner: Clayton’s Close, Springhead
Runner Up: Delph Village
