Head teacher takes on new challenge

CROMPTON Primary School head teacher Martin Moore is leaving to become head at St Matthew’s Primary School in Chadderton.
In a decade at Crompton - his first headship - Mr Moore led the school to achieve an “outstanding” rating by Ofsted. He starts his new job in January.
He said: “It really has been a privilege to work at Crompton Primary School and a joy to educate such a wonderful group of children.”
Crompton Primary School’s deputy head teacher Kelly Eyres will be acting head teacher from the start of January
