Family-owned brewery JW Lees and Co has agreed a three-year supply deal with Oldham Athletic for beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
The deal supports the extra demand created by the Oldham Event Centre development and new banqueting facilities.
Lees, founded in 1828, is based at Middleton Junction and owns the brewery, pubs, hotels and Willoughby’s, the wine merchant.
As well as sponsoring many local clubs JW Lees is also the founding title sponsor of the new JW Lees Brewery Pennine Cricket League and has sponsored the JW Lees Bitter Wood Cup for over 30 years — believed to be the longest running amateur sports sponsorship in the UK.
William Lees-Jones said: “JW Lees has had long relationship in the past with OAFC and is delighted to be supplying our beers once again to the loyal supporters of OAFC as well as giving visiting fans a chance to sample our beers.
