Jean gets a biker send-off

THE funeral cortege of Jean Buckstone
A 20-bike parade gave a much-loved Failsworth woman a colourful send- off yesterday.
Jean Buckstone, a former admin worker for the NHS, died aged 52 of kidney disease on December 21.
Her daughter Jennifer’s love of bikes led to friends paying their respects by riding their machines from Cooke’s Funeral Home in Failsworth to Hollinwood Crematorium.
Jennifer’s friend Lucy Parker said: “Jean was just a very kind person. She always had time for everybody.”
